Kudymkarskij representation of the Perm Regional Court upheld the sentence on May 7 Director Sepychskoy rural school Alexander Ponosov. He was accused of using “pirated” software on school computers and infringement of copyright and related rights to Microsoft.
The school was found guilty of using pirated software on school computers, and sentenced to a fine of 5 thousand rubles, ITAR-TASS.
February 15, 2007 District Court Vereshchagin stopped a criminal case “for minor and public security”, but neither the prosecution nor the plaintiff did not agree with this decision. The parties have filed counterclaims, and 27 March Komi-Permyak of the regional court overturned the conviction, returning the case for retrial in Vereshchaginskaya District Court.
