Parliament of Estonia will begin on Thursday to review the laws “On protection of military graves” and “On the demolition of obsolete structures.
The wording of the first law, which states that “it is prohibited to install monuments, inciting hatred and glorifying the country that had occupied Estonia, can legally begin demolition of the Bronze Soldier Monument in Tallinn from the Nazis, ITAR-TASS reported. The second law prescribes reburied in the cemetery the remains of Soviet soldiers from the “inappropriate” places in the park near the monument. Thus, both the law should put an end to confrontation between supporters and opponents of the demolition of the monument to Soviet soldiers in the capital of Estonia, as well as other similar monuments in the country.
