The former head of oil company Yukos, Mikhail Khodorkovsky believes that as a result of the second trial he would be sentenced to life imprisonment. "I try to hold out in prison until death," - said in an interview with Khodorkovsky Munich magazine Focus. His words conveys website DW-world.de.
The former head of Yukos said that he does not believe in the validity of Russia's court, nor in the promises made by President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev to strengthen the legal system in the country. Before independence of courts is far from Russia, he concluded.
According to Khodorkovsky, all have so far been legal reforms were fragmented and did not perform to any qualitative, irreversible changes.
