Medvedev has made to the State Duma a bill on equal media coverage of the parties

Russia’s President Dmitry Medvedev has made to the State Duma the draft law “On Amending Article 32 of the Federal Law on Political Parties“, the press service of the Kremlin.

The bill concerns guarantees equal coverage in the media activities of political parties represented in the legislative (representative) bodies of state power of subjects of the Federation, said the certificate to the law.

The bill, inter alia, provides that in the subject of Russia will be determined one regional state television and one radio channel, which will deal with coverage of the political parties.
