Sergei Ivanov spoke about corruption in Russia

Corruption in Russia has become a “very tricky, latent,” said the head of the Russian presidential administration Sergei Ivanov.

According to him, the evidence in such cases are produced very carefully and thoroughly. But this does not mean that we should organize a “witch hunt” and to return to the 37th year, Ivanov assured. “In addition to the direct corruption, we are still very unfavorable to the so-called conflict of interest,” - said the representative of the Kremlin.

He cited the example of a situation where one or other officer shall decide on the distribution of orders for paid from the state treasury operations. Then it turns out that the tender went to a company affiliated with that same official. “The daughter of his works there by the president. Or the wife sits on the board of directors. This happens all the time”, - stated Ivanov.
Nevertheless, the head of the Kremlin administration noted that “the vast majority of officials and the regional and federal level - honest, decent people.”

The belief that all officials “have a daddy with compromising” and at the right moment they are put on the table the president, Ivanov called nonsense. “If there are daddy, and they should be called cultural affairs, then they are in law enforcement. There’s probably it is. I do not probably, but surely. Rhyme or reason people have not been arrested,” - he said.
