The court ordered the priest to pray for parishioners on account of payment of debt (unprecedented decision in the history of Russian law to accept arbitration in the Nizhny Novgorod region)

For the first time in the Russian Arbitration Court under the settlement agreement obliged the defendant to the plaintiff and to pray for his family. The decision was handed down in the case of the Nizhny Novgorod diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church, which ordered a commercial company to develop the project documentation for the boiler system in one of its buildings, and the work has paid only half. Entrepreneur first went to court, and then proposed a settlement agreement with the diocese’s own unprecedented conditions.

Under the agreement, the church agreed to pay the plaintiff 200 thousand rubles, and to offer prayers for the health of the servant of God Arsenyev Ivan Mikhailovich and servant of God Lepustina Sergei Alexandrovich, their families and the welfare of all their good deeds and endeavors. Well, the company, in turn, refused other material claims against the defendant.

How regulatory authorities will be able to check the fulfillment of the obligations in the agreement was not specified.
