The court in Karelia admitted two Russian proverbs about the law discrediting honor of the Ministry of Interior

Moscow. February 17. INTERFAX.RU - The Supreme Court of Karelia admitted discrediting honor of Ministry of Internal Affairs published in the publication “North shore” journalistic material, in which the two sayings of the law contained.

According to “Interfax” represents edition in court lawyer Elena Paltseva summer of 2015, the newspaper appeared material criticizing the actions of the police officer of the village of Kalevala, which questioned a minor without the presence of parents.

Expressing its position, the journalist used the two proverbs: “the law that pole, where you turn back and left” and “the law is holy, so lawyers dashing foe,” said Paltseva.

The petition demanded the Interior Ministry to recognize the discrediting honor police and several untrue statements in the article, including the phrases containing these proverbs.

The publication intends to file a complaint to the Presidium of the Supreme Court of Karelia.
