The European Parliament will check to see if EU funds are used in Ukraine in corruption schemes

The Budget Committee of the European Parliament will send a group of deputies of Ukraine to monitor the use of allocated EU funds the country, and the degree of protection against the use of corruption schemes. This was reported by the press service of the European Parliament.
“Fact-finding mission (corruption) in a group of deputies of the budget of the European Parliament Committee sent today to Ukraine to check the use of the financial assistance from the European Union, provided by Ukraine in order to stabilize and reform. It will assess, as Ukraine is opposed to corruption, and whether the effect is EU funds, “- noted the press service.
In the spring of 2014 the European Commission has promised to help Ukraine in the amount of € 11 billion until 2020, provided the reforms and fulfill the requirements of the IMF. To date, Ukraine has received more than € 2 billion in various programs, which were given under the guarantees of former prime minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
